I recently ran across Peaces Of Indigo on Etsy. This designer crafts the most amazing rings, perfect if you’re looking to go less expensive and more green for your wedding. Each piece is hand-crafted with materials such as recycled silver, gold, bronze and natural gemstones.
Best of all, each of the eco-friendly wedding rings you’ll find at Peaces of Indigo are beautiful one-of-a-kind designs featuring sweet extras such as poetry, literature verses, quotes and words of happiness written by hand. No one else on the planet will have your ring!
My most favorite ring I’ve seen so far is this yellow sapphire engagement ring shown below. So pretty and I love the not perfectly round look – very unique.
The yellow sapphire engagement ring is a fair trade, rose cut, yellow sapphire gemstone set in recycled silver. One of a kind, the setting is made specifically for each stone and embraces the stone on all sides. The silver setting measures 9mm x 6mm.

- Garnet engagement ring wedding ring set: Inspired by Wuthering Heights, this ring is made up with a lovely scarlet garnet set in recycled silver in a romantic and feminine style. I don’t usually go for red anything, but this ring is so pretty I almost forgot about the color – I think it would be lovely for a winter engagement. The inside of the rings have the following quote from the book handwritten inside, “Whatever souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” Sweet! Very vintage and so pretty.
- Oval Herkimer diamond engagement ring: I really love this ring. This one of a kind, shiny Herkimer diamond ring is made with recycled fine silver and a flawless faceted oval stone. The textured band features the words, “forever and ever” – a nice little secret.
- Lavender sapphire engagement ring: Ah lavender. You know, there just aren’t enough lavender rings in the world. Luckily, there is this amazing ring made with a lovely, fair trade, faceted sapphire set in recycled silver. There’s also beautiful hand embossed swirling paisley texture.
All Peaces of Indigo are so affordable that you’ll flip, plus rings arrive at your door in a literature-adorned recycled kraft box wrapped with an indigo velvet ribbon – awesome. Seriously, check this Etsy shop out stat…
