Make Your Own Tall Wedding Cupcakes!

by Jennifer on November 1, 2009

OH MY GOSH – would you look at these adorable cupcakes. Tall, frosty, and lovely next to a full sized organic wedding cake or a cupcake tree.

You can actually do these yourself – the designers of these beautiful little gems, Sugarbloom Cupcakes & Macarons offer an excellent Sugarbloom Tall Cupcakes Tutorial! It looks a little time consuming, but really mainly involves cutting, filling, stacking, fondant, and wrapping in vellum.

These gorgeous cupcakes are the perfect accent to a green wedding if you make them organic. You could even wrap them in plantable paper for a natural look. These would even make fab take-home favors. The tutorial is picture heavy and easy to follow so check it out – Sugarbloom Tall Cupcakes Tutorial.

Because I’m a genius – naw, actually I have this secret cake obsession. I don’t like eating them much, but browsing cake sites is fun, it’s amazing what people do with them decor wise. Thanks for being my first green wedding comment – too bad you’re not planning one ;)

Hi I was wondering how to get an invite to the blog so I can watch the tutorial on the tall cupcakes. I would love to make them for my own wedding as I am on a strict budget. They look gorgeous.

Thanks
regards Sarah

The tutorial is at http://sugarbloomcupcakes.blogspot.com/2009/05/tall-cupcakes-tutorial.html

Are you not able to get on that site? It pops right up for me, no invite needed.
